Eng. Mario Emmi
Head of the Patent Department
Mario Emmi has a degree in aerospace engineering at the University of Pisa and is enabled as European Patent Attorney (EQE exam 2012), enrolled to the Bar of IP Advisor, patent section n. 1298 B.
Since 2008 he is the sole administrator and associate of Studio BrevettiTuriniS.r.l. where for more than 10 years he has been the expert dealing with the drafting of patents, reply to examination report, oppositions, patent validity opinion and counterfeiting.

After having grown a great experience as head of the patent department of an undertaking well known in the field of paper, since 2008 he is the sole administrator of Studio BrevettiTuriniS.r.l., where, for more than 10 years, he is the head of the entire patent section.
During the years Eng. Emmi has grown a great experience in patents and in particular in the drafting of (national and international) patent texts, in the preparation of reply to examination reports, oppositions and appeals before the EPO and in preparing written opinions on counterfeiting and patent validity opinions.
Eng. Emmi has grown a great experience in counterfeiting cases both as expert of the party and as consultant of the Court of Florence. Eng. Emmi is a Court-appointed expert of the Court of Florence in the patent section and has huge experience concerning counterfeiting cases as technical assistant of the Judge in many cases related to patent.
He attended several research seminars for Court-appointed experts such as:

- “The doctrine of equivalents in the patent infringements”
